Organizational Readiness

Last updated on July 31, 2025

Stronger volunteers. Smarter service. Sustained impact.

At ReadyMeNow™, we help the people who help others. Our mission is to give Mississippi residents more confidence and skill to manage change where they live, work, or serve.

Volunteers may enter this program in one of two ways:
- By being referred by a local nonprofit, civic group, or faith-based organization
- Or by joining independently and identifying a community organization to serve with during their journey

As they grow through the Ready Relator™ learning program, each volunteer completes a step-by-step path that builds skills, confidence, and the ability to better support the teams and communities they care about.

Before completing the full training track, each participant must be actively volunteering with a local organization. In those cases, ReadyMeNow™ invites the nonprofit to sign a simple Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) confirming the volunteer’s engagement. This ensures clarity, shared support, and compliance with our charitable public service mission.

The training helps address common nonprofit challenges like unclear roles, burnout, and communication breakdowns—by strengthening the individual, not by consulting the organization.

When multiple volunteers complete the program in a community, they form a local Community of Practice—a peer-driven support network that helps volunteers share tools, reflect on lessons, and continue their personal growth. The benefits always remain with the learner, who serves wherever they are needed most.

It’s a simple idea with big impact: Help the helpers, grow the good.
